Sower's Chapel of the New Church would love to have you join us at any of our worship services. Our church teaches that the most important way people worship the Lord is by living according to His commandments in their daily lives. The goal of our worship services is to provide time for people to humble themselves before the Lord, raise their minds above daily tasks, learn from the Word, and pray and sing with other people.

Regular Sunday Services:

Traditional family worship service begins at 10:00 a.m. on 3 Sundays each month. The first part of the service is for families, and an address suited to the children is given during this time.  After the children's talk and a benediction, parents take their children to the nursery or the Sunday School. A sermon is given for the adults during the latter half of the service. In order to maintain a reverent sphere of worship for the service, silence is observed in the sanctuary.

Sunday School

The purpose of Sunday School is to familiarize children with the stories of the Bible.

  • Nursery - children under age four. Parents supervise their children in the Playschool.
  • Sunday School - children from ages four through sixth grade.
  • Teens - After sixth grade, young people are expected to remain for the adult portion of the service.

Informal Family Service - Monthly Service:

This service is offered on the first Sunday of each month, at 10:00 AM. These services are designed to offer something for all ages but the emphasis is on the children in a more relaxed atmosphere than the traditional Sunday service. We incorporate contemporary music, visual aids, and a less formal message. Many of our visitors especially enjoy these services.
