About Sower's Chapel |
Sower's Chapel is a New Church congregation and offers worship services, programs and activities as well as a Sunday School from Preschool through grade 6.
Congregation
Our congregation is a wonderful blend of all ages. We also have a great number in our gatherings who were not born or raised in the New Church, but have come from other religious backgrounds. This gives us an appreciation and acknowledgment of the good that is being accomplished in other faiths while appreciating the guidance we are able to receive from our doctrine.
Instruction
We provide a place of continual instruction of how to deal with the challenges in our lives and how we can have a sense of developing a deeper understanding of the life we are to lead. We do this by the sermons that are delivered on Sundays and various classes that are given throughout the year. We also provide instruction to the children that accommodates to their level of thought. We also encourage personal reading of the Word and family worship and we have various means of supporting this effort.
Practical Application
We strive to provide a service that is practical and understandable to everyone, regardless of background or age. It is a high priority that we present messages from the Bible that are easy to understand but provides deeper insights into the type of person we are to become and the manner of life we are to live. We are blessed with teachings that lead us to a deeper understanding of the Bible and we strive to present these teachings in there integrity but in a way that is approachable to everyone.
Support for Each Other
We believe that we provide an environment that appreciates every person as a creation of God. We also value each person’s uniqueness and what they are able to contribute toward others. We believe every person has something to offer that the Lord can operate through and touch the lives of others. We strive that the worship experience in our church will provide you with a taste of heaven while living in this world.
